Harvest Twestival a Real Tweet

Sorry… That title was just there for the taking, and no it isn’t a typo. The Harvest Twestival was a gathering of the twitterati in Londinium at doonstairs. A very snazzy venue, if a little hot! It gave me the chance to put some 3D faces to 2D avatars from the twitter world, as well as catching up with friends. There’s a lovely photo in the post at This is Now and post by Sizemore (I love the design of Sizemore’s site – very warm and homely).

Wonderful as meeting absolutely everyone was, the highlight for me was seeing Ben (aka ihatemornings) singing his twitter song. “you’re no-one if you’re not on twitter“. Don’t worry, you are someone if you aren’t, but you’re missing out on meeting new people like this lot (my photos from the very dark night):

Hmm… not the most flattering photos of yours truly. I shall get my revenge in video Mr Ellis.

But Danvers, you still look have the powerful statesman look! (I’m living in fear of the video now… Really must get myself a flip!).

Glad you liked the song. It was a blast to play it for such a receptive crowd…

Quality photos, btw. Infinitely more flattering than most of the phonesnaps I’ve seen…

    ;o)

Last night Twestival was a blast – shame we couldn’t talk – I’m not really good with loud music :-( Hopefully we can catch up at another social media event !
